This unit will store twelve full-sized spice containers below and up to 12 half-sized (2 inch tall containers) above. The front and rear clear panels are not as tall, to fit in shorter locations, to keep your upper cabinet shelf lower. You will need a space of 9.5 inch from the cabinet base to your next cabinet shelf to fit this unit. Fits a compact space with complete access to the back row of your cabinet and it accommodates standard sized spice containers (i.e. ; Penzeys, McCormicks, Spice Islands, etc.), no need to re-package.
