The Special D Classic Dreadnought acoustic guitar is crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides. Like many of s famous dreadnought guitars, the Special D Classic dreadnought has all the punch and volume that players have come to expect from the world-famous Guitar Co. The combination of spruce and sapele generates a tone with expressive highs and mid-range frequencies plus a loud, punchy bottom end. Along with a great tone, this guitar has amazing sustain and dynamic response. The Special D is equipped with a mortis and tenon neck joint. This glued, neck-to-body joint allows the neck and body of the guitar to resonate as one instrument.
